Liminka has something to do all year round. The Liminka Bay Visitor Centre is a must, a bucket list destination. The Visitor Centre’s year-round exhibition with a free entry, ‘The Eight Seasons of Birds’, will tell you about the life of birds around the most popular bird wetland in Finland.

A favourite of the whole family, The Escurial Zoo and Flower Park, brings animal friends of all kinds to you. In Alakestilä Arboretum, you can admire over 200 different species of trees, bushes and plants. Hungry for adventure? Head to Liisanlinna. This wooden castle, sometimes called as the northernmost wooden castle in Europe, offers adventures of many kinds to groups of visitors.
